The Peoples Climate Movement Colorado has an ambitious plan to bring together community, faith, youth, and environmental groups to collectively and collaboratively move Colorado into a Just and Equitable Transition into a renewable energy economy.
We will work together to ensure working class communities and communities of color lead the fight for climate justice by working on relationship building and training on structural racism and creating a definition for climate justice.
We will work on developing a collective definition and principles to move Colorado into a Just and Equitable Transition, we will connect this work to our day-long summit and candidate forum, we will connect all of these efforts into our civic engagement efforts in order to ensure Colorado leads the work for climate justice with the voices of community and workers.
