The Illinois Peoples Climate Movement is assembling a group of stakeholders from around the state to build power and take action in the climate movement at the local, state, and national level.
We’ll be working to build power across the state to by engaging environmental justice communities, conservationists, labor partners, and everyday people in order to make climate change a priority issue across Illinois in 2018.
Our work will be centered on building stronger relationships among communities, organizations, and stakeholders in order to mobilize for climate action statewide around the environmental justice, the public health benefits of a clean energy, green jobs and a just transition, and increased political engagement of underrepresented communities.
