This year, PCM is deeply invested in building and demonstrating the power of the climate movement beyond the streets.

All of our work – collaborating with important state and local organizations in a set of states to strengthen the movement, mobilizing across the country on September 8th, and using the Global Climate Action Summit to broadcast the scope of our commitment to the world – is strategically designed to elevate climate, jobs, and justice in the national dialogue.

Through voter registration, education, and community forums, PCM will center that dialogue around racial and economic justice and civically engage tens of thousands of voters with both the reality of climate change and the necessity of bold climate action. Then, on November 6th, in the months that follow, and well into the critically important election cycles in 2019 and 2020, we will demonstrate the power we’ve built, with the power of our vote.
